Commitment to innovation
At its core, MANAL showcases a commitment to challenging the status quo of construction materials. The pavilion's primary components are constructed using cement-free building materials, based on the admixture and binder technology developed by Oxara.

Low CO2 materials
This approach not only reduces reliance on primary resources but also transforms waste materials, such as sludge, excavated earth, and mixed demolition waste, into circular building materials with a low CO2 footprint.

By creating an ecosystem of optimistic problem solvers, the MANAL project addresses technology and performance questions, explores design possibilities, and collects engineering data on the novel building materials.

Material-conscious design
Building materials are the foundation of the entire design approach, where each material fulfils specific functions. Form follows the material properties.
Circularity & Sustainability
Transforming excavation material and demolition waste into circular, low CO2 building materials, by applying Oxara’s cement-free admixture and binder technology.
Proof of concept
Showcasing the potential and qualities of Oxara-based building materials to raise awareness and trust in these new materials. A platform that encourages new ways of thinking in construction.
The primary components of Pavilion MANAL are constructed with building materials based on Oxara’s cement-free technology, which enables the reuse of excavation material and demolition waste.
